New CMI Sri Lanka President

At the recent CMI Sri Lanka AGM, a new President was elected - Professor Ajantha Dharmasiri CMgr FCMI.

Congratulations to Professor Ajantha and we look forward to working with you over the coming year.

As the previous 1st Vice President of CMI Sri Lanka, Professor Ajantha has already contributed several articles for the CMI Knowledge & Insights Hub and was a panel speaker on the CMI Asia Pacific Deep Dive into STEM digital event.

Professor Ajantha has a rare combination of being a Chartered Manager, Chartered HR Professional and a Chartered Electrical Engineer. He is acclaimed as a conference speaker, corporate trainer, strategy consultant, author and an academic.

He was the Director and Chairman of the Board of Management of Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He is an Adjunct Professor at Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma. He was the editor of the pioneering Sri Lankan Journal of Management (SLJM). Being a Commonwealth AMDISA Doctoral Fellow, Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow, and a Commonwealth Postdoctoral Fellow, he is also an independent director of several boards.
