CMI HTQs can be funded through Advanced Learner Loans (ALLs). From January 2027 they will be transitioned to the LLE, giving people from all backgrounds the opportunity to engage in continuous learning.
CMI HTQs offer a flexible and accessible approach to learning, with part time, distance and full time learning available. Unlike apprenticeships, they do not require 20% off-the-job training, an End Point Assessment or for a learner to have continuous employment. HTQs are also designed to be modular and transportable, with learners' achievements assessed after each module.
Centres or providers will need to apply to deliver HTQs, as accreditation will not be granted automatically. Speak to your Relationship Manager for more information.
