Sunway University, CMI International HE Partner of the Year 2024

Sunway University, CMI’s International HE Partner of the Year 2024, is one of Malaysia’s leading private universities. It holds a five-star rating from the Malaysian government and has been awarded Premier Digital Technology University status – one of only 11 institutions in the country to carry that honour.

Prior to being named a winner in the CMI Awards of Excellence, the Sunway team stated that success would be “a transformative milestone”, serving as a powerful magnet to lure even more “top-tier talent”, opening doors to new partnerships, elevating its standing among peers and providing a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Based in the west of Kuala Lumpur, Sunway has an admirable mission: to provide quality, holistic education for all – regardless of race, creed or financial standing. The university offers more than 80 programmes, from diplomas to postgraduate degrees, and more than 40 short courses and micro-credentials for industries.
