About the Institute of Consulting
The IC is an organisation within the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and is the only chartered professional body that is dedicated to management and leadership. This allows for sharing professionalism under our code of professional ethics and conduct across Managers and Consultants. Governance:
The IC is governed by the IC Advisory Committee which is a Committee of the Chartered Management Consultant (CMI) Board of Trustees, the roles and responsibilities include the following:
- Develop the IC strategy and to make sure it meets changing demands of the profession, including supporting the implementation of the Chartered Management Consultant award
- Contribute to the achievement of overarching institute strategy on all issues relating to the practice of consulting
- Make recommendations to the CMI Board on IC policy direction and annual business plan.
