This self-assessment diagnostic has been designed to help you identify the areas you need to develop in line with the top skills currently being looked for by employers. These core skills are aligned against our Professional Standard and backed by our recent employability research, carried out in collaboration with employers.
If you are currently an undergraduate on a CMI Dual Accredited degree, you will be able to use the diagnostic to assess yourself against the key skills employers are looking for and upskill yourself during your course with resources tailored to your skills gaps.

At the end of the process, you’ll be given instant feedback, recommendations, and tools for further learning, all of which can be accessed as part of your member benefits with CMI.
This tool together with our Career Development Centre will help you design the perfect CV and carry out mock digital interviews, ensuring you are a candidate of choice.
The Employability Skills Diagnostic can be accessed via a mobile, tablet or desktop device and can be completed as often as you like to continue to assess your skills.
The employability diagnostic is currently only available to learners on a dual accredited degree course.
