Partnering with CMI means being able to deliver a world-class learning experience, 100,000s of cutting-edge resources and a globally recognised qualification.
Why offer CMI qualifications to the MOD?
With an established network of centres and partners, as well as working alongside over 850 employers and education providers across the nation, we have been successfully supporting thousands of managers and leaders to reach their full potential for over 60 years, and supporting the Armed Forces for over two decades.
Our comprehensive suite of Management and Leadership qualifications, specifically designed for military personnel, offer a flexible and valuable opportunity to translate learnt experience into meaningful qualifications that employers desire - all whilst benchmarking the learner’s success against our globally recognised competency framework. Underpinned by our Professional Standard, we are the only professional body able to offer a progressive pathway through to Chartered Manager Status - the ultimate management accolade.
The refreshed CMI offer
The CMI offer has been updated to give learners even more choice than ever before. Learners can now choose from the following options:

Once you have successfully completed the assessments you will be awarded the CMI qualification and also gain Foundation Chartered Manager status plus 12 months free CMI membership to access our wide range of digital resources and events.
CMI Certificate of Recognition
We have mapped your course against our Professional Standards that translates the key capabilities , knowledge and behaviours you have gained through your military training that civilian employers will understand and value. In addition to your endorsed certificate you will also receive 12 months free CMI membership to access our wide range of digital resources and events.
Standard Learning Credits (SLCs) may be eligible.
What you need to do
As a centre, you need to ensure that your courses have been fully mapped to avoid any gaps in accreditation.
To do this, you must email abmodcentres@managers.org.uk with all of the information on the right.
CMI will review the documentation and commence re-mapping the new CMI qualification syllabus and the CMI Professional Standard (for the Recognised Certificate).
