SERC are committed to lifelong learning and supporting learners with the opportunities to recognise and validate their experiences in the workplace. An accolade such as this could help us grow our already extensive provision of CMI products but also help SERC be promoted further on the global stage. SERC pride ourselves in facilitating those in the management arena with chartered and fellow status. The vision of Exeter College is to shape the future by delivering excellence, and to realise the ambitions of learners, the city and the region. They have been shortlisted for this Award due to their extensive work with employers of all shapes and sizes, helping to promote greater opportunities for local businesses and communities through engagement with employers and learners alike. This has shone through in their delivery of CMI qualifications and apprenticeships to increase the number of qualified and confident leaders, particularly in their work with a local NHS trust during the pandemic.
It felt like the perfect time to put through an application for this Award, and that was primarily down to our learners. So it is great that we can recognise the work of employers and our staff to help apprentices on their learning journeys.
