Jazz bands aim for synergy. That sweet spot where everyone is collaborating together to make a beautiful sound, where musicians can step in and out of the music but it all works as one, despite not having sheet music to follow.

Businesses are not too dissimilar. They also attempt to work together for one goal, with people stepping up and collaborating to bring success. If they want to innovate, they also need to do so without a script.
