Annual Scotland Conference 2015

Edingburgh NapierThis year the Annual Scotland Conference was held on Friday 30th October at Edinburgh Napier University and with over 100 delegates attending a great day was had by all.

The conference was centred around the theme of developing organisational and personal values, drawing on inspiration from the CMI report on the MoralDNA of Performance as well as the CMI Code of Conduct that sets out clear principles guiding the behaviour and values that every manager should live by in their work.

Note of thanks to all involved

We are thankful to all the speakers and facilitators who gave up their time freely to contribute to the conference with the motive to share the values that inspired them. The CMI Scotland Board are committed to encouraging leadership development within our management community and we hope that the conference provided some useful time-out from your busy calendars to reflect on the role of values in management and leadership.

This year the CMI Scotland Board launched a Student Ambassador Scheme and Student Ambassadors from across several universities played an active role in the conference. We were therefore particularly delighted to have Annabelle Ewing MSP Minister for Youth and Women’s Employment, addressing this year’s conference.

We hope you enjoyed yourself at such an inspiring venue and our sincere thanks go to all those who helped deliver this event including the staff at the Edinburgh Napier University, our CMI Event Staff, our CMI Scotland Student Ambassadors and the CMI Scotland Board Members.
